Campus is very well maintained but parking continues to be a nightmare. There are no plans, as far as I am aware, to change this and students are required to park dangerously on the street or pay exorbitant amounts for limited parking on campus.
My current university. For anymore going there during class time parking is an absolute nightmare around the campus so uber or walk there. And there is a new restricted access gate system they implemented to stop protests so if you are a visitor you have to present a valid IS document when you want to get into the campus. Besides this it's a great place, full of little cafe's and lots of small spaces to explore.
Beautiful campus, full of greenery and trees. Also a great tertiary institution.
A beautiful campus with world class facilities. UP is a place where you can get an internationally recognised degree while being immersed in South African culture and experiencing student life at its best
You are not only here to get a degree but you also get value added on the degree through student organisations and the university's accomodative environment for grooming student talent.
UP gave me the best education anyone can ask for.As I speak today, I am the COO of African bank and that has come to be true with the University of Pretoria(Tuks) I'm so proud of this Institution.
I've studied here, and from what I've seen at other universities, UP campus is hugely under-appreciated. Awesome place to learn and meet up with other students.
One of the best university's in South Africa. A truly wonderful and nurturing place with exquisite campuses.
Definitely my favourite university proffers go out of their way to insure we do well and on campus facilities are amazing
Great university. Always making provisions for special students, handling situations (cough cough protests), maintenance is top notch and level of education is sublime.
A great university, with world-class facilities, equipment and lecturers. A majority of its course material is sourced from industry leading sources overseas and courses are benchmarked against similar offerings by universities world-wide. My course was extensive, all-inclusive, with ties to industry which provided me the opportunity to get practical, real world experience.
I enjoyed my field of study here. It was the only place in Africa to offer an aviation degree. Sadly it's no longer available.
A wonderful time in my life.
