Absolutely pathetic service!! Staff act like they doing you a favour, they are rude, slow and need training desperately on customer service!!!
Quick and efficient..though the team leader could do with some customer satisfaction skills. Thinks everybody supposed to know what to do.
I could not get through telephonically. I went mid month 9am on a Saturday and there was one person in the queue ahead of me. I was in and out in under 20min. The gentleman at Enquiries was friendly and aimed at helping me get sorted, without hassle. Remember to take a bank statement as a proof of residence.
Most pleasant experience at a Licencing office I've experienced so far.
Quick & Efficient . Great Job to the staff over there . I arrived at 730 and was done by 830 . I read a lot of poor reviews and I must say my experience has been mostly good .
To avoid any frustrations make sure you wear a 3 Ply Surgical mask (Blue masks) as they will not let you in if you wearing a Cloth / Bandana /N95 mask . These are the rules so don't fight it and just comply . I see to many people always trying to take on security who are simply following the rules.

I come from Kloof. Been in queue since 7. Suddenly announce only OPEN at 9. Sheer incompetence. Supposed to open at 7.45. This is like shambles Zimbabwe.
There's no notice stating they cannot attend to certain aspects regarding vehicle ownership NCO forms. One has to endure long queues only to be told at the cashier/tellers desk.
Still don't understand why ND registered vehicles can't be processed by Umhlanga as the computing system is the same. So one travels to Globle road which is closed until further notice & Umbilo has a maximum intake of 150 only.
Sure systems and clients are under duress because of Globle Rd closure but the MLD must address it's shortcomings to eliminate unnecessary time wasting of the working class.
This place does not do driver's license renewal, only vehicle licensing.
They also don't answer the phone so there is no way of knowing this unless you go there...
Poor service still waiting for the call from the Umhlanga licensing office.since January for log book collection. Sadly I had to select one star - I would definitely give a "0" star rating if it were possible. Shocking service.
Absolutely slow and useless. Unfriendly staff. The same people from years gone by. Surely Preformance appraisals should be done on them to determine their fitness.
I have never experienced such quick friendly and professional help from any traffic department! Keep it up!
yes busy and there was a wait, but super helpful, greeted with a smile and customer service was spot on. thank you great job.
Very mismanaged. Printer was broken in one terminal. So of the other 2 tellers, there was one on a "break" most of the time. For something that should've been 20 mins took me 90 mins. No communication from employees or management to make the process quicker.
