Really good service and excellent food. Excelled hospitality from the owner. Specials offer a great addition to the normal menu. Good value for money.

I had the filet with avocado. It was the best steak I've ever had.
If I'd live here, I'd go regularly to this restaurant, but so it will be a delicious holiday remembrance for the rest of my life.

I can recommend the Artist Cafe Chicken, very good.. Food was good and service was adequate - a little slow but the waiter was excellent.. Little bit expensive, but portion sizes are decent. The venue itself is very picturesque and is not too far out of town. Definitely worth a visit, and probably better than most other offerings in the Midlands area. I should also note that the milkshakes are nothing to really write home about - they don't put enough sauce in them!! Pleasant experience though.

Low end food at high prices. Merely thriving due to lack of competition.

Pedestrian food at high prices. Not impressed. Nice view/farmhouse ambience, but I can cook better at home with a microwave. Seriously.

The food was superb. The service was quick and effortless. I ordered the lamb medallions and my wife ordered the Malay curry. The lamb was tender and juicy but well cooked too, with fresh steamed vegetables and soft potato mash in a crumbled, fried covering. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere pleasant.
