Beautiful getaway accommodation. Each unit has a hot tub and an aircon. Overall an enjoyable stay. However there are quite a lot of Christian Bible verses and some strategically placed literature all over - some people might find this offensive.

As its name states it is a very tranquil place. It has all the necessary features to be so. It had a nice stone outdoors jacuzzi pool which was working just fine when I was there a few years ago. Don't know maybe the place is ran down now But when I was there I couldn't wish for much more.

We loved it!! Everyday a suprise "gift" from management gave it a personal touch. Jacuzzi was awsome. We even had bushbabies visiting at night. We were provided with all the information we needed about the surrounding area. Would recomend it to everyone.

It's very isolated. There is no one you can contact in case of an emergency. No phones in the room and no one comes to greet you once you check in. The lady managing the place is quite rude and racist. Though the place is well made, the cold reception you get will put you off. The free WiFi is a lie as they cut off your WiFi after a few mbs of usage (it is mentioned on a piece of paper after you check into the room). All in all, a bad experience. Will never visit or recommend to anyone.
P.S. i don't know what staff the other reviewers are talking about. There is no one at all around the property. You enter with a wireless key for an electrified automated gate. There is electric fencing all around. I did not see anyone at all till the day i checked out.

I was in the Sugar Bird unit with my wife, and it was a lovely, private unit. Everything we needed was available, and Ellen was great dealing with. I never had to see someone in my whole visit - you get the keys by the gate, use it to get into your unit, and then drop it in a post-box when leaving.

Everything I wanted to know, suggestions and a map of the area was left in the chalet, which we then got on arrival.

Ellen left us rosebuds on the chalet floor, set a nice table for 2 with red roses, a bottle of champagne. The cleaners came every day and left the place clean.

We really enjoyed our stay there, and would definitely go back.

Tranquil Nest is a lovely place. The cleaning staff was very helpful and friendly.
However, We didn't have the view described on the web. It is very noisy especially at night due to the fact that it is in close proximity of the main road. The Jacuzzi was not working properly and when we inquired regarding this we were told that we must just use it as a hot tub. They aren't going to fix it again.

Stunningly located close to Hazyview and excellent for doing the Blyde River Canyon Tour and Private Kruger Park game drives. Friendly and keen staff to help with all your travel requirements safaris are done to Kruger Park
