Glynis Rozendo‎ to Toyota SA

My husband purchased a second hand Camry SBP 728 GP about 2 years ago from a friend. It has its entire history and was taken in for a gearbox repair and also a service to Toyota Honeydew. Upon return from the Service, the car never started the first time you turned the key. He took the car back and it returned exactly the same. I believe that a vehicle must be safe for my all my family to be in.
On Thursday last week we took a trip to Tzaneen and to our total annoyance, the car kept on cutting out on very steep mountain bends. We could have been in an accident or killed if a truck loaded with logs or any vehicle travelling at some speed would come around the bends.
On Friday my husband took this car to Toyota in Tzaneen where he was attended to be Xander who without hesitation mentioned his father once had the same vehicle and he knew exactly what it was. He went under the car and instead of the fuel pipe sucking up petrol, it was sucking in air. He closed this part of the vehicle and took it for a test drive. The car is now a pleasure to drive in and what is more, my husband was not charged for this service. Thank you Xander. You are my hero for taking the time to help us out when being so far from home.response / report this review -
