Highly recommend. The food was fantastic. I had the beetroot salad still thinking about how amazing it was. The pizza was delicious, paper thin and crispy. Service was fast friendly and professional. Definitely need to book as it was full.

Wonderful food and great service. Had a tuna pizza for the first time and the taste combination was excellent. Great vibe. Italian hospitality but sadly no sign of any Mafiosa.

The Woodlands Eatery has the most delicious original Italian food with a very simple menu and great value for money. The food is so tasty, you feel like you are in heaven. I highly recommend going here and make sure you book to get a table.

Wonderful spot! Interesting fresh menu and unpretentious setting. We were very well attended by a lovely, sexy, knowledgeable Italian who.made us feel as though we were the only two mature ladies in the house.

My wife and I went here for my birthday last night. I had such a great time. The service was excellent, our food was absolutely delicious and one of the Italian owners was fantastic. After paying my bill, he quickly ran to my table and insisted on offering a desert of my choice on the house for my birthday. I’m not sure if it’s a Common thing they do so don’t use this as reference when going to claim a free desert on your birthday. Perhaps by throwing a few Italian words around helped in this case. I will definitely go back to try other menu items. 5 stars for sure. Bravi ragazzi!

The food is great and not too expensive but their menu is a bit limited. They do have good vegetarian options. Staff is friendly and the overall vibe is laid-back. Definitely try the onion rings if you get the chance!

This is a beautiful, quaint place to go for dinner. Everything on their menu is delicious and constantly changing. They're a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. Service is friendly and generally very good.

Woodlands Eatery is a gem of a place in he heart of residential Vredehoek. The restaurant could easily be missed. I'm glad we didn't miss it. Woodlands Eatery is open on Sundays - a rare find in Cape Town! We dined as a group of 4. Between the 4 of us, we ordered the hake dish, the Korean beef taco and Big Gus pizza. All the meals were delicious and wonderfully plated. The pizza was an authentic thin crust with fresh ingredients and given all the TLC that made it a real gourmet pizza. The taco was also delicious. They are served on a board where the diner makes their own taco. All the elements are provided and then one needs to build their own taco. The fish (hake) was very well battered. The menu mentioned skinny fired, I had no idea they would be spirally garnish on top of the fish. I would have liked the fries to have been real fries. Other than that, I cannot fault the dishes. Service was relaxed and friendly. A great intimate place to come with good friends and family.
