One word says it rubbish. Rooms not as clean as should be, food and service terrible, took over 20 minutes to even find someone to serve. My recommendation, find somewhere else to say. Did building used to be a prison, rooms more like cells. Good job Nandos is just over road.

This hotel goes back very many years,at a gues I would say from about 1886,it has been upgraded more than once over the years as well as new owners from time to time
The present owner Mrs Motz Bezuidenhout and her late husband were both teachers at Dundee High School and took over the hotel in October 1999
I have stayed here many times over the years and can vouch 100% for the very good food,service and clenliness
This is a very well run establishment AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL TRAVELERS TO STAY HERE WHEN THEY ARE ON THE AREA
The foyer,diningroom and the lounge all have a pitorial history of the wars that happened in the surrounding area - ENJOY

Rooms were dirty, sheets were dirty, doors were broken and the area outside the room was a total mess! Would definately not recommend

The rooms not so modern but the food is great
