My family and I have frequented the Napier country house a number of times and we will be back for many more. We love the tranquility of Napier and its proximity to hikes and a number of tourist attractions within an hour's radius.
The kids love the Arniston and Struisbaai beaches and ocean.
For a small town it is blessed with good restaurants and pubs.
Pizza and pool at the Sun Touched Inn is a must.

The Napier Country House setting is great and for me nothing beats sitting on the wide veranda eating cheese and wine with friends, whilst watching the sun go down over the fields.

The tranquility is much needed and the hospitality is great. We will be back !

Situated in the lovely little town of Napier, this guest house is the perfect getaway place if you are looking for an escape from the city life. Extremely peaceful, plus there are amazing little shops and restaurants to check out. Ill go stay at Napier Country House again as soon as I can.

What a beautiful accommodation! This place is just unique and, although we only stayed there for a few days, already very special for us. Fleur, Marius and Jolanda were the most hospitable people – staying next door to them was like being with neighbours you really enjoy living close to. In a very down-to-earth way we spent the days together: chatting if there was time for a chat, leaving each other if there was time for privacy. And not to forget Thandi and Mai Mai, their lovely and well behaved dogs, whom our children immediately fell in love with.
The country house has everything one would need for relaxed stay: Comfortable beds, a nice little kitchen with nothing missing, fresh flowers, beautifully decorated rooms and an extraordinary shower. The amazing garden invites to wander around and it has several spots to sit in, enjoying the huge figtree and listening to the birds. The Napier Country House is perfect to unwind. Just two hours from Cape Town, Napier, this charming village with quite some really nice restaurants, is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Overberg district. The most Southern point of South Africa, Cape Agulhas, where the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean shake hands, is virtually around the corner. Elim should certainly be on the to do list as well as strolling around Napier. Highly recommended!

Most of our guests love the quiet peace which Napier Country House offers them. No noise other that the early morning crowing of the local roosters. Walking around the country roads you'll hear birdsong, the odd dog, ( and perchance baboon), barking in the distance and the wind through the grasses and trees.
Our guests love the garden and private barbecue areas as well as the possibility of a swim in the dam.
Getting away to Arniston or Struisbaai is within an easy 48 km. So too is, 'Die Mond', a popular picnic place.
If you enjoy cycling, bird watching, walking, relaxed eating in good eateries,swimming and exploring a quaint old village, then this is the place for you.

Einfach spitze und super idyllisch gelegen. Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit hier um einfach mal abzuschalten. Napier ist ein schönes Örtchen mit tollen Restaurants. Am besten fragt ihr Fleur, die Vermieterin, nach Geheimtipps. Arniston oder Cape Angulhas zum Schwimmen liegen in reichbarer Nähe mit dem Auto. Ich habe Napier mit dem Fahrrad von Elim aus erreicht. Eine super Mountainbike-Route. Also wer auf der Suche nach einer einfachen, rustikalen, aber sauberen und sehr idyllischen Unterkunft mit einem wunderbaren wilden Garten ist, der ist im Napier Country House bei Fleur perfekt aufgehoben.
