  Food is good & decent sized portions staff are very friendly. & the hound is very social, just looking at you eat your generous meal with he's puppy dog eyes

  Has become one of our favourite places. Great food and great service. Well worth a visit. However, please guys, rethink the Sunday menu. Went with my family yesterday just for a beer and snack but no snacks menu on a Sunday now.
  R145 for a 2 course Sunday lunch is a bit expensive. No Sunday visits to the Hound for me.

  Cant believe the poor service. No waiter or staff to seat you. Went to the bar area, to ask the barman, where we can sit. Anywhere, was the answer. Asked for a waiter, same barman was the waiter. Asked if they have cocktails. Eish, was the answer. Eish? Its either yes or no. Who screens the staff? Poor!

  Horribly inconsistent, either fantastically good or Spur level bad. Last time I went my pork belly was overdone and when I asked for management they were away (it showed). My brother and mother opted for a pizza and the fish and chips and were extremely disappointed for the price. It's a pity, since I dig the dog friendly concept and the gastro pub vibe.

  Inconsistent! First round were excellent, second and third time were terrible. Consistency is very important to me and they failed horribly, I reported it to the owner who had some witty remarks
