  The only pub in Clarens. Cosy atmosphere inside and tables outside looking onto the square. Locals and tourists hang out and chat sociably under the tree, live music most Saturdays good pub grub and a roaring fireplace for those cold winter nights. Value for money

  Very good Pot Pie and excellent service. What upset my whole evening was the fact that the waiter asked me ti no pay a tip as they do not receive it. This to me is disgusting that the owners or management does this and then takes the tips for them selves or as additional income. This will be the reason for me not to visit your establishment again. I totally disagree with this manner of working with your workers.

  Worst service ever at any restaurant! Booked table given to other customers, drinks ordered wasn't in stock, manager just had excuses but no resolve. Most pathetic establishment in South Africa. Manager refused to supply owners contact number.

  Good place to stop to have a beer right opposite the famous square in Clarens. Walking distance from all the shops.

  Manageress was extremely rude. As a paying customer I expect to be treated politely. She needs to work on her people skills. Place smelled of urine.

  This was our first stop in Clarens and it looked like fun from the outside.
  
  The food was so oily and the veggies tasted like it came out of a can. .The sauce from a packet. I was very sick afterwards. The place is filthy and it now makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.
  
  Definitely on my 'never to go again' list.
