First of all, the blender broke so we couldn't get the cocktails we wanted or half of those on the menu. Then they didn't have any prawns, the chips were cold and the terrible service. At least the view was great

Order took a while but was worth the wait. You can taste the freshness of their seafood. Good service. Excellent view of the ocean. I'd definitely go back

Great Service. Best curry from a restaurant by far. You must try it. Prawn curry or hot beef curry.
Its not that hot and the taste is amazing!!

They advertise themselves as having the best seafood. While yes, it was good, my food wasn't very warm and got cold quickly as we were sitting near the deck. So it wasn't the best I've had, the local Portuguese restaurant in Joburg make better prawns. But the atmosphere is great and service is good, and it's nice to sit in a place where we can eat and watch the ocean.

A good place to go with a group of friends, with tables right next to the ocean. A good verity of food and drinks. Pet friendly. No breakfast though.

Quality of food not different from Ocean Basket. Not impressed with service: asked at least 3 people including manager that we would like to sit at a table viewing the beach. Never happened though at least 5 tables went open during the time we had to wait for our food. The glases for our wine and beer were dirty and there was no wet wipes for our hands for eating prawns. No bread was served. I shall rather go to Ocean Basket next time i visit Ballito.

This is the most beautiful place in ballito. With a perfect view 👌 service is excellent. Pets friendly as well. I love galley Beach 🏖 bar and grill..

Best seafood we've had in Ballito. Really great food and of course the view is amazing. Suitable for toddlers and babies. Not ideal for families with preschoolers. No play area and the beach is too fat down. But pack some toys and you should be good to go. Kiddies menu but even the baskets are more than yummy for little tummies

Great view and even better food! Patrick was a great waiter and pointed out whales that werenin the water to us. We had a great view of 2 whales breaching from the outside deck with warm blankets. Perfect beachfront restaurant

Told it is great for their sea food special. Had a drink before ordering and while drinking we saw all the different foods coming out - not looking that great, but when one table of locals shook their heads, we decided just to have a couple more drinks - no service. Waited, called and eventually got service. Not even our original waitress. We were not impressed.

The management here is really pathetic.
Would not recommend to tourists. We waited for an hour for a seat outside, when become available, other people who have to not been waiting as long grabbed the table and management did nothing about it.. what a waste of a day

Great place to go to watch the ocean tide come in and the sunset after a day in the beach. Enjoy a cold one and great food here.
