This is such an incredibly beautiful, authentic experience. The options on the menu are unique, delicious and portion sizes are massive. Attention is given to every detail. We had a lamb burger, and from the quality meat, home made buns, hand cut chips, real butter and fresh rocket, each ingredient was quality and value. The place is quite busy, and we did not book in advance, so had to wait a while for seating but the waiters were so good as to give us a blanket to sit on the shady lawn while we wait, serving us drinks so long. I would definitely come back.

Feast for the eyes and feast for your tongue!! 🤷♀️ very nice corner of town where friends can meet, greet and unwind. Good for business meetings too. Thumbs up indeed!

What a super venue, great service by Freedom, and mostly great food. The Spencer Burger, pulled lamb burger, and pulled pork burgers were a huge hit. If you like curry that has at least a little spice, don't go for the chicken and prawn bunny chow. It is more like chicken stew with two overcooked shrimps on a bun. Freedom impressed us greatly in his service generally, but specifically also in offering to get a discount on the disappointing item.

Wow! Now this place is special! Lovely setting, awesome service from great humoured and attentive staff. Lovely kiddies play area. Food was fantastic! Lovely special touches I'll go out of my way to stop in here again!

Good food and coffee, awesome place to stop by while on a midlands meander. Also has an amazing view by the jungle gym area for the kids. Perfect for a young family to relax and eat

Fantastic wait staff. The kitchen was a bit slow but considering how full it was it makes sense. Food portions are very generous and great value for money. The menu is extensive and everything we had was delicious. They could improve on their chicken burger, the chicken was a bit too dry.

Stunning ambience and friendly staff. Ordered pull pork burger which was very tasty but the "bun" was very tough.had to use my hands to pull it apart to eat it.

Most incredible menu and milkshakes (milk tart flavour is to die for). The chefs choice platter was the most delicious assortment and the prices are very modest compared to quality. Childs paradise and parents happy place. A top spot for lunch brunch or snack. You will not be disappointed

Great view. Delicious food and drinks. Really awesome, rustic decor. Fruit juices were out of this world! Only negative was a bit of attitude from a couple of staff members and food took about an hour to arrive.

Lovely lunch at Farmer's Daughter today with the family. 8 of us and we all ate something different. All the food was very well prepared. The service was very good, all be it before the major lunch crowd arrived. Very pleasant setting.

We had the milktart and chocolate brownie milkshakes which were out of this world, really lovely. The food was okay. The chef made a boo-boo on two of the meals but the waitress Londy and the manager were very apologetic and ready to replace the meal. The surrounding is gorgeous, lovely for breakfast and lunch for the family- i would say this place is a must-try

Beautiful spot in Howick and a great place to stop at before you really get into a meander. Food is well priced and of good quality. Their fresh squeezed juices are delightful and a good size - worth the R30. There is a great area for kids to play and a lovely view to enjoy during your meal. They have indoor and outdoor seating and great decor throughout.
