A very neat bakery where you can have a good breakfast or meal. Very well prepared and presented to the customer. The waiters are very friendly and efficient. The bakery is very well known and popular by visitors to to the town and also tourists from abroad. Definitely a restaurant that must be visited when visiting the beautiful town of Clarens. Enjoy your meal at a very pleasant environment.

Excellent breakfast and lunch menu! Really fast service, even with big crowds, which is a big plus. Seating is limited though, and they don't open in the evenings. The attached bakery has great freshly baked food, stop by on your way out to stock up for later. And their pies have a great filling to crust ratio, so try them too

The bakery offers a small selection of biscuits, breads and other freshly baked goods. The restaurant is well serviced, clean and has a fresh and open feel. It opens onto the main street and is a great place to catch a quick meal. This certainly is one of the better cafes in the area.

Really fantastic food at incredibly good prices. I was a little put off by the plasticky decor and sign, but very glad we chose this spot. Had soup, lovely fish and chips and salad (at only r60 odd), quiche and lemon meringue.
The menu is nice and extensive but the baked goods are what really make this place. Pick up some perfect scones, quiches, samosas at the bakery next door on your way out.response / report this review -

Lovely place, excellent food and the Deli is superb. Just a shame they were under staffed the day we were there. But it is a must IMO.

Usually very good coffee, excellent breakfast and cakes. Tends go get very busy over weekends, buffet lunch on Sundays (must book).

Lovely cakes and pastries here. Really enjoyed the homemade pies. Good service.

Food was great, but the wait for the bill took forever. I eventually had to go find the bill myself. Otherwise good place with a beautiful view.

Dropped in for coffee and cake. Was not disappointed. Lovely cake selection, fresh made with quality ingredients to the taste. Larger than usual cuts. Cuppachino was excellent. Welcome to see a coffeehouse overs grande option. Recommendation to the owner, invest in glass cake covers, the plastic does not do justice to the product or establishment.
