The Cedars South Coast changed my life and taught me a new way of how to live a life beyond my wildest dreams! Forever grateful to The Cedars
What a phenomenal place. I can't thank Cedars enough for how they have changed my life in every way. The councilors, the program, the food, the medical staff, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING there is done brilliantly. I needed help and change desperately and was willing to do anything it takes and Cedars made it possible. Thank you for your help and support back when I needed it Team Cedars you are TRUELY PHENOMENAL
The Cedars saved my life. I had spent a lifetime struggling with mental health issues, eating disorders, self harm and suicidal ideation and attempts. By the age of 45 I had been given 5 different, serious diagnoses. I arrived at Cedars after 8 yrs in and out of psych wards, severely self harming and on over 20 psychiatric drugs. I left 5 months later, medication and self harm free and waking up grateful to be alive. Over 2 yrs later I work full time, my marriage is restored and I am a fully present, available mom to my two beautiful teenagers. The 12 Step programme and people/environment of the Cedars breathed life back into me. Seeing real people modelling possibility through their own recovery, gave me the spark of hope I needed to give my all to my time there. So grateful to all the staff and other people who were in treatment with me!
The 3 months that I spent at The Cedars is an experience I will never forget. I came in tired, angry and not knowing who I was but at the same time, too scared to show it. The Cedars not only helped me with my drug and alcohol addiction but they helped me to take a good hard look at myself. Today I am sober, clean and excited about life and I am happy with who I am. I am so grateful for The Cedars, the counselors and the many friends I met along the way. If you are seriously willing to get better then this is the place for you.
Very big on breaking you down. They lie to your family about you and don't really care about their patients. No love or care. Just business. I went to another rehab after getting kicked out of the Cedars for being depressed. Not a single problem at the new rehab. Lots of love and care and they actually helped me with my addiction as well as my psychiatric problems Been depression free and sober for 5 months now.
Here I changed my life for the better
20 months sober now and a completely different person. The Cedars not only saved my life but made it a life with meaning, direction and purpose.
Excellent treatment facility run by caring and knowledgeable staff.
