What a marvellous B&B, if you are around the Gaansbai area I highly recommend you book a night in The Bay Lodge. The owner is such a wonderful and delightful lady, it was a joy chatting with her about our plans for the day and hearing all her recommendations. She kindly booked a table for dinner in one of the restaurants in town and prepared a super nice breakfast for us in the morning. The house is situated right in front of the sea and we were lucky to have a room with a balcony with gorgeous views, so I would suggest trying to book that one in particular and of course, don't forget to be there for the sunset! All in all, he house is spacious and clean, and our room was beautifully decorated.

Very nice B&B located in a super-quiet and beautiful area of Gansbaai. Our room was not too big, but very nicely decorated and very clean. The owner was very helpful in organising dinner for us the two nights we stayed with her and her recommendations were excellent. I highly recommend The Bay Lodge!

The Bay lodge was amazing. Villeria was very responsive to all emails and helped us book our shark diving tour.
The rooms were clean and neat. The view is also amazing. Best to get a room on the top floor.
Villeria was very kind to us, allowing us to come back to use the shower room after our shark diving tour as well.
Thank you Villeria! I will recommend everyone to stay here if you can!
