Takealot do not inform you that your order will be delayed by a whole 2 weeks, they do not give you a reason why either. i needed that item a week ago but Takealot dropped me in silence. what used to be a good company has become incompetent. you have just lost me as a customer Takealot.

All their phones have a bot that gives a pleasant excuse as to why you are worthless to Takealot, this is a clear example of non existent customer care.

Takealot is all about the MONEY!!! ..Your Money!! you pay them and they don't deliver, your money just sits in their account while they come up with new excuses.

Never again will i set foot there to collect a parcel. Had to wait an hour just to collect 2 masks! Just apologies whole time. In the meantime people collecting orders at the back look like they taking a stroll through the park

Their android app keeps crashing. Myself and a number of other users have complained about this issue that seems to have started 2 months ago and they don't seem to be bothered. I have spoken to a number of other people and they seem happy to have uninstalled the app and started using alternative shopping apps, I have too but I would like to go back to using the app for its convenience. Surely an e-commerce company of this size has a capable technical department?????

A lot of improvement than what it was before. With the size of the place and the number of people who collect, the electronic queue and notification system is the best fit.
However the staff is yet to be given the same training so they don't end up discriminating indirectly against foreign clients using passports.
Plus, check your prices twice before ordering as some sale prices are not always the best prices.

Takealot has revamped their entire package pickup experience. As you enter a series of touchpads greet you. Punch in your order details and takes a few steps into the waiting area. The large LCD displays list the name and initial of pending orders. Occasionally flashing to a desk number as items move out of the warehouse to an associates desk. Head to the desk, flash your ID, quick signature and your are on your way with your goods. Barely had to take it all in. Great experience.

Absolutely gorgeous to see that we can give service like in overseas A friendly welcome at the parking already, you get directions where to go Inside you enter your details into a tab and off you go to the waiting hall I was lucky on Monday morning wasn't a lot of traffic When I entered the waiting room I could persist immediately to the counter Also here very professional and friendly approach by the consultant My details and a signature and I could grab my parcel and leave. All in all it took me not more than 10 minutes The directions in the park area could be better but otherwise it's a pleasure going there

I was wowed at the fast service. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I came in and was greeted by a friendly guy. Took me to 1 of a full row of tablets where i logged on wrote my name and my order number. Then went to the waiting area. Where a lady at the counter called my name. Most definitely the most promt service iv ever gotten. Well done Takealot Team.

The takealot warehouse is an absolute pleasure to visit when collecting an order. You enter and the first thing you need to do is pop in your order number on one of the many ipads setup for this reason. Don't miss this step! The waiting area is clean with lots of seating and I've always found the staff friendly and efficient. It makes collecting your orders an absolute dream.

Pointless paying cheaper and opting to collect, but then you wait 30min for them to bring 2 small items. People that came after you get helped quicker. Will think twice buying here. Just don't like bad service.

Quick, easy, and pleasant collection and returns process once you're inside the building. Unfortunately, recently there are car guards outside who generally make the parking process annoying. Whose idea were they? Fire that person, and the car guards.

If you live close to the warehouse (and currently spend less than R450) then it may be cheaper to pick up your own items than paying for the delivery fee. Remember to sign in at the computer close to the entrance though. It'll ask for your name and booking number. Follow the signs then your name will show up together with which counter you need to go to. Easy and convenient :)

For those times when you simply do not want to wait or not keen to pay the delivery fee. Well oiled machine this collection point is. Just do not go and collect day or so before Christmas as it will be like any mall with very long queues. Takelot itself is mostly always a good experience.

I am waiting for my delivery, at home, the same address as i have always had delivery to. I am scheduled to receive my stuff by 7pm today. Now i get a message from Take a Lot saying they cant deliver because no one is home to collect. I have been home all day, waiting, patiently. This is utter bull shit. I tried to call the warehouse, before their advertised closing time, only to get an automated voice message saying they are closed. Now i have wasted a day, and now i must sit at home all day tomorrow as well to wait for delivery. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. The driver dd not even call me to say he was here, or to hear if i am home.

Great customer experience. Was very surprised to find their collection centre to be just as efficient as when dealing with them online. Fast moving service. Quick in,quick out. Ample provision for those days when quick in and out may not be possible: video games to keep fussy kids busy, enough seating for tired legs and super cool so no overheating on the hot days.

Love going to Takealot! They are very well organised, there is always enough free parking and a friendly staff member to assist you if you need any help. They keep you updated throughout by sending you messages to your phone, and the whole process is usually very quick, even when there is a long queue. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Great experience.

Takealot's collection process is pathetically slow, many of the staff behind the counters are doing nothing and are clearly boredstaff usage going to waste Takealot should be renamed to Waitalot 25 minutes and counting and still waiting for my name to be called and here's exactly 11 customers waiting and 20 staff behind the counter Utterly pathetic!

Ordered an item, eft payment was made. No payment notification was sent. I had to call pay fast in order to confirm payment. I proceed to the warehouse only to wait in a line to hear a robot response of wait for email for collection and we cannot help you further sorry. Called call center twice, same robotic response from agents. They said they escalated it to the relevant department for help which did absolutely nothing. Still waiting at the warehouse for the email for collection when my item is already here. Ridiculous that staff cannot think for themselves. Rather leave a customer waiting and unhappy, almost like they are glad to show their control over me. Anyways rant over, take a lot isn't as fast and efficient as it should be.

Ample parking is available close to the warehouse entrance. There is normally a queue, without a place to sit. However the time spent in the queue was short. Service is quick and efficient and the front office staff seem competent. The goods are handed over within a short delay. Security seemed active and efficient.

Don't use in December. The lines are very long. Rather pay the delivery. Having been there on other days, their service is good and it didn't take long at all.

I used to love the pick up service as it was quicker to order online and pop past after work. It has recently become so busy that it would be quicker to drive to a mall, park, walk to all different shops, queue in their respective lines to pay, find your car and drive home.

They really do make it easy to take your money! There are several different methods of payment that they accept and you are able to collect your good from their warehouse free of charge. The is not normally a long queue for the pick ups and the staff are friendly and efficient. The one time that you really don't want to go collect things that you have purchased is during the Christmas shopping season because no matter what time you go there to collect you will end up waiting for what feels like an eternity.

Takealot provides generally good service. All 3 visits I have made to the warehouse have been a good experience. Customer area has a good, clean and efficient feel and queues generally go really quick. Also return policies are good. Worth using this service.

I'm a Takealot fan. The warehouse pickup process is quick and convenient. Removing 1 star because you can't order and pickup at the same time as was the case previously. Removed another star because the items in my last pickup (3 orders) were covered with thick dust. Come on Takealot you can do better. Will up the rating if the next order is in good condition.
