We visited the weekend of 8 - 10 December 2017, and what a lovely place, awesome owners, always very helpful and unbelievably friendly. The stay was amazing and the view was out of this world. They will definitely see me again You will not be disappointed if you decide to go

Owner was kind, but it is very difficult to find and to access! Moreover, the equipment is very limited, even for wall plug

Although some of the farm is still under construction (the dam is not finished), and the drought means the dam from the photos was dry, this place is still definitely worth it. More of a guest house than a backpackers, the beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the views are incredible. Most importantly for any birders, the farm is only a 20 minute drive from the top of the pass where we managed to have excellent viewings of all 6 Fynbos-endemic passerines, including three Victorin's warblers and many pairs of Cape rockjumpers within 10 metres.
