  The baobab was struck by lightning and no one said a thing. When we got there, we were informed that we still had to pay R25 each to look at it. I refused! Tsrrible road getting there as well.

  Not worth the drive. Was really disappointing. We drove so far for nothing. Maybe make a note on website to advise that tree has fallen.

  Very interesting to see this massive giant of a tree, it’s a real pity that the tree seems to be rotting and falling apart in many places.
  Not much else to do here but it’s nice location to take some great photos.

  Although the massive baobab is impressive, I don't think it is worth driving up there and paying 25 Rand per person. Maybe it was worth it before the tree collapsed.

  The tree is quite a sight! Humbling to stand in the shade of a ±1200 living thing! The location is someone of a let down however. The buildings aren't well taken care of and while the staff may be friendly the service is lackluster. It also seems strange to have to pay R25pp just to look at the tree?

  Absolutely a waste of time! We drove an hour to be overcharged to see a big tree ultimately! R25 per person with no actual bar or service. It was dirty and broken so as a result the baobab is rotting and attracting all sorts of bugs! Stay away and don't support this money making scheme

  Just drove for 3 hours to see this so called amazing attraction. It is totally disgusting. You have to pay 25.00 to just look. It stinks and is filthy inside full of flies. No drinks no barman just a filthy hole in a tree
