I found their customer service very poor.

When I checked in, I was allocated a room for smokers. I immediately requested the receptionist for a non smoking one. She was not impressed but she then allocated me a room as requested.

In the room there was no hotel telephone directory. I dialed 9 hoping it would be the reception are, and it was. I explained to the receptionist that the room did not have a telephone directory, a tV station directory, and other things. They don't even have courtesy water in the room, despite the Eastern Cape being hit by the recent drought. She promised to send some one with the requested items, and despite following up, none of the items requested were brought to the room

I will rate the dining and breakfast experience tomorrow. I am hoping their service will change my assessment of this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay there, the rooms were clean & its located close to the beach. The receptionist wasn't nice. The other thing that disturbed me was I slipped & fell during breakfast on something slippery on the floor. None of the hotel staff came to clean up the slippery stuff that made me fall. The guests were kind & helped me up. I could have been really injured. I also didn't like that they served the same menu every single day. I enjoyed my stay but I personally wouldn't book there again.

Our company A N Onimus Lee booked 2 rooms 2 nights, with 5 local colleagues - for weekend meetings. Big modern rooms 4 star accommodation (ask for 'NEW DESIGNER ROOMS others a bit old).
fibre optic FREE Wi-FI EVERY WHERE. Our company people said great food.
Service people like reception and conference guy very good. Nice professional service 24 hrs/ day for workshop.
'Lee Corporation' meetings for 5 -10 people bloody fussy about a board room, meals including required halaal food, presentation equipment. Wow inside lounges and bars with arty decor. Used each part in the Hotel the staff all 'got it' and did their part.
Good value, lovely food fresh and honest lots of it cute old bar. Busy with sports in the Nelson Mandela Bay - vibes weekend but we had private good spaces, classic hotel meeting space but modern and well organised. Couldn't have been better for out of town people and local office people. Nice spot. On beach road good for walking and lots of parking. Loved it! Will go back to sign this year's Onimus Lee deal for our business in PE!

Just awful! Bad organisation, they changed my room three times in one day and assigned me a room already occupied!! I had to go back to the reception two times because they gave me the wrong keys Old fashioned, broken forniture and dirty rooms.. This is a place to avoid! I quitted the hotel the same day I arrived!

I have no reason to fault this establishment. It isn't in the best of nick but it's under renovations so time will tell. I found it frustrating that I had to wait a further two hours upon arrival before I could check in, and even then, my room wasn't ready. I arrived in the afternoon. I accept that they had been fully booked and probably overwhelmed the night before owing to the SA vs IRE test match but as a patron, it's still frustrating to wait. Surely the unoccupied rooms could be paused and my room attended to promptly?

That being said, everyone at the hotel, besides one really horrible staff member, was courteous and polite. The horrible staff member in question, though, was terrible at taking our meals orders and got everything universally wrong. My friend received a rump instead of sirloin, my steak had the wrong sauce and was mixed with a well done steak, a cheese sandwich turned out to be a ham sandwich, and so on. I also had a filthy used fork for dining purposes, so I had to have that swapped out and the lady serving us didn't even blink twice when she saw it. Nonetheless, overall, the breakfasts were great, the buffet was nice, and the facilities were adequate.
