Excellent place to stay

neat set up, disappointed about the tv, very snowy. Receptionist didn't know much about the place. Dvd player doesnt work, fridge doesn't work. Sheets have stains and my room has dirt behind the pedestals. Feeling very uncomfortable

Place is not hygienic at all, Wifi does not work although it has been payed for in the service fee, Service is not customer friendly overall experience was bad due to the fact the the place did not deliver as promised (advertised)

First of all the place was not as we expected in their website.What really disappointed me was the food in the kitchen expired 2 years ago the owner of the guesthouse did not even bother to the least to clean out all the rotten things for us.Before we checked expiring dates we had already cooked and eaten thinking that the guesthouse is a trustable and a safe environment.The pool was dirty and we couldn't swim with all us young ones who wanted couldn't afraid to get sick and as we tried swimming once some kids were sick.This place isn't a place to spend your holiday the place isn't as beautiful as you think so before going i will suggest you think twice

We checked in at on 6am others at 10am,before we left Gauteng I asked my inlaws what was the plan when we get to Durban as check in is 2pm as we know it in the leisure industry. The response Kishore said anytime as theplace will be occupied by us only for the period. When we go there Kishore wasn't there to welcome us or give us rules of the guesthouse and what to do in case of emergency and to show us around.
The rooms were dirty, the house cleaner only started cleaning when we were there the kitchen was a nightmare. The fridge that we were suppose to use to store our food was full of her staff and only removed it in the evening of our arrival. The pool was green and yet we were suppose to swim on it. As a healthy and safety representative I was alarmed by the hazardous things that I saw and I was only happy that it wasn't any of my clients who were there. I looked away and try to make the best out of the situation.
The rooms are fitted with bar fridges and aircons in some rooms these were not working I know in my room both didn't work. The wifi only worked for 1hr and there after it didn't work until we checked out. The DSTV installers never came until the day we left. So you can imagine what were we watching.
This was even more heart breaking there was a fish pond which was full of dirty water and lots of fishes. I am not sure what is the rule around this still investigating it. Kishore tells my inlaws that they can use anything in her kitchen when she knew very well that all the things are rotten or expired. I drank the coffee and now I have a runny tummy with cramps I will need to see the DR I hope I am not poisoned.
I cannot stressed enough how this place is not a place to send your clients to, we have these Europeans who wants to experience kasi life that is not a place to send them to.

my experience was horrible i wouldn't advice anyone to go to this place the owners the refuse to give us our 3000 rand change the man was not a nice person to talk to. the food that we found was expired. my daughter sat on a chair it fell and hurt her head the was no apology instated they blame her and demanded a r6000 to fix the chair, according to them the person that makes their furniture is the same person that makes the furniture for the queen of England. i was not a good experience at all.
