A great stop for coffee, cake and a light bite to eat. Lovely settings outside in the open with shaded tables and you must pop.into the little shop to look around. Great woven scarves etc too.

The food is second to none. Their homemade chilli is to die for. Round the back is The Berg Weavers hut with Beautiful locally sourced wool woven from Angora goats. Just 5 mins away Brambley Cottage with views to Giants Cup in the Drakensburg.

Didn't go to the cafe itself, went in to have a look round the antique shop attached to the the cafe- Stonehouse Antiques and Collectables. And ended up spending a small fortune on a load of really lovely things!

A disappointing visit. I did not feel very welcome when I chose only to have a cappuccino , rather than food too. After half an hour, the bill was presented to me and then my cup taken away. I felt that I was being pushed out , despite the fact that the cafe was quiet and there were several free tables. It's a shame as I had asked to see the menu, stating that my family were probably going to join me and eat there later.

Although the food itself was delicious, all of the sauces and juices were made from powders, and were not fresh, even though the staff said that they were.

Very fast and friendly old timey café. Owners and staff are incredibly friendly. Meals were filling, delicious and served very quickly. There's an assortment of tarts, pies and tea snacks available in the store too. Overall excellent visit.
