  I really enjoyed our stay there. Great quaint room with all the basic amenities one needs. The view of the spectacular scenery and landscape is breathtaking and one is within walking distance of everything happening in Main street so very conveniently located.

  Owner went out of his way to assist us and accommodate us. House we stayed in was in a good condition. Near all the main attractions.

  Great place with friendly owners.. just a short pleasent walk from everything in Clarens.
  
  Rooms are great
  Private balcony and braai are a huge plus
  Heaters and electric blankets in all rooms for thos cold nights.
  
  Our first choice to stay in Clarens.

  A very basic old place and needs some TLC.
  The nice thing about this one is it's walking distance from the town square which is great.

  We stayed here for one night and the place is very well maintained and very clean. The place is well equipped with kitchen equipment and the beds have electric blankets for the winter. Seen as though Stonehaven is right below the Protea Hotel I thought that this would be an issue but you don't even notice the hotel and still kept very private. The owners are very friendly and helpful!
