A decent shop with varied products. Ample parking space albeit non marked and muddy in winter. Grocery carrier baskets are sticky and looks dirty.
There are no toilets.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
What a nice big Spar! They have the freshest chips and samoosas at the back and fresh meat! Ask for Sarie (the friendliest helper). People outside ask for money, that is a bit dampering, as they are hooked on drugs! So don't give them money please!
It's a small shop with all the essentials. Fresh produce is a bit low in stock and could be fresher.
Well stocked for such a small town. Fruit and vegetables, bakery, butchery, wine sales. Excellent Tops liquor store adjacent.
Generally, the Spar is a good option. But the one in Prince Albert is a exemption. The shop is dirty, bakery is no good. Possible reason for this is, there is nowhere else to go. Spar head office should investigate.
You need to spend hours checking sell by dates. So many expired items on the shelves. Sell by dates removed from pork rib boxes. Shocking.
Well stocked I was surprised. Keep it up!
A huge improvement. Well stocked. Recommended.
Well-stocked and managed. A HUGE improvement on OK Bazaar.
Functional. No frills.
A small spar on outskirts of village. In the Karoo. Quiet arty type village. Also quaint and old village. Visited buy Silver Fox Tours.
Convenient. Wide selection. Lots of Banting items
You get your essentials however fruits don't look that good. It's just for buying stuff not buying experience.
Economical option for stocking up for our two days in Gamkaskloof.
Fresh veggies daily and very clean shop
