On a whim we took a two hour detour to check this place out. We were glad we did, just to say that we had been here. It was under construction at the time, but I imagine it is quite pretty normally.

First visit to the Southernmost Tip Of Africa. Amazing to witness two oceans coming together. Hot meeting cold. I'm looking forward to to visiting the other corners of Africa. You have to see it for yourself. 2018 bucket list ticked.

Great spot, far from everyone and undeveloped. If you are debating coming remember that cape point is a far prettier location. It is basically at the end of a road, making it a bit of a journey to get there.

Unspoiled and awesome feeling standing at the southern tip of Africa. We loved the 71 steps climb up the lighthouse tower. My 2 yr 6 month old son also climbed up.

The location is worth a visit just to take a picture with the sign and for a short walk. Just come here if the location is on your way.

A well-marked route and an easy drive highlighted our search for this spot. Being able to stand in both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans simultaneously made the day for my wife. A gorgeous beach, a beautiful light station and no crowds were al bonuses. If you visit the area, be sure to continue down the road for a short ways to see the shipwrecks and the very rare stone lion.
