I went to the post office at benmore gardens yesterday and I was told they can't deliver my parcel, I have to take it my self to the address as they are changing routes, my question is, do we as consumers have to suffer due to the company changing its routes? I am very disappointed.

Absolutely pathetic service, 2 counters are dedicated for International parcel collections however there is hardly ever anyone there to assist and when there is it takes them 30-45mins to find a parcel because nothing has been organised. Don't even bother phoning they wont answer.

7 counters, 2 people working. No customers at the licensing section but the clerk sits and does nothing which leaves 1 person to help a queue of 10+ people.
Another amazing government institution. And the credit card machines don’t work either.

Slow. Shoddy service. They have sold my contact details to 3rd parties (including the DA). Inconvenient operating hours and are sometimes closed when they are meant to be open. Computers are often down. Basically a joke.

I would give them negative if i could. They never answer their phonenever ever ever. They sent me the collection slips weeks after i had already collected the parcel. if i could stop using this branch i would. USELESS!!

I never complain about things, but i just have to in this case. If I could give them a zero rating, I would. I have used this post office regularly for over a year, the credit card machines have never worked there. Each time I collect a parcel from them, they act surprised that I would even consider using a credit card to pay the duties. Try calling this post office - never answer their phone. delivery time from customs after clearing is never less than 10 days. I always get my parcel delivery notice slip weeks after I actually collect the parcel. If you ever want to do a hownotto video on customer service - going and watch these guys mope around the office. Lastly the book where they register inbound parcels is a mess, none of the fields are filled in correctly, when they cant locate your parcel, they hand you the book and tell you to find it! UNREAL!
