Sophie's is ex-Maputo..so there's some Mozambique flavour in many of the dishes. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is relaxed.

Small restaurant but very neat with good service. The food is very good with not a long waiting period. The only complain that I have is that you can not order grilled fish. It is only fried or no fish. Perhaps more attention to more healthy options?

One of the worst restaurants in Nelspruit. Wrongly positioned at "The Gateway to Nelspruit". Bad example to the rest of the restaurants available in our city. Shocking food. Whole restaurant reeks of garlic. It's the only flavour used ine very dish. Tiny menu. We waited an hour and a half for two meals. Do not waste your time or money.

Sophie's Bistro used to be located at Komatipoort Golf Club, and many people had told us that they served the best prawns in the Lowveld. When we heard that they had relocated to the Halls Roadside Complex just west of Nelspruit on the N4, we decided to give them a try.

In spite of the fact that they are newly opened, we had a lovely meal, with friendly staff and great food. The prawns met expectation! They have applied for a liquor licence, but in the meanwhile, take your own wine.
