The staff are friendly and helpful and they seem to have a genuine interest in welfare of the animals. Haven't always got the best stock but if you ask they will try and get what you need

I phoned to book geaunia pigs and their services over the phone was outstanding, they were patient and helpful, all their animals are well cared for and I great Health. The store looks flawless and everything is set neatly and arranged very well😊❤️😉😀🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦.

You should definitely look into this place when purchasing or booking pets

This is a great pet store. Chris really knows his stuff particularly about aquatics and reptiles. Their new marine section with fish and coral frags is starting to become more comprehensive. Freshwater plants selection is brilliant, and includes both local and imported species. Tanks are always spotlessly clean, and well labelled with the fish and prices.
Variety is broad as well, and they can order in fish for you specifically, again both local bred and imported. Good range of aquatic fish and plant foods, all very reasonably priced.
Other pet accessories are also available for birds and small mammals, as well as the usual stuff for dogs and cats.

Large shop, with a wide variety. Generally their fish livestock and plants are good. Pricing is competitive too, considering that it is Hillcrest.

Chris and the team are always super helpful and accommodating. My daughters bought their pet Dumbo rats (Sprinkles and Max) from them. They kitted us out with a great cage and all the relevant paraphernalia.

The store caters for the serious collectors too with exotic snakes being a particular speciality.

I went to Something Exotic Pets this morning and what a lovely experience! I initially phoned and spoke to Chris who suggested I come in and chat some more. I did and was not disappointed. Chris followed up the conversation over the phone with insightful onsite advice. Not pushy, just interested in providing good service and information that I could make a good decision. He had further offered to keep my large cage purchase until I need it and adjust it to suit my needs. Will be back! Frequently!
