  Very nice place to stay. Would have easily rated it 5 stars if they had not, as we were leaving, insisted they only take cash.
  
  Have returned to stay again and enjoyed it all over again.

  I am sorry not to have met you during our stay at Smalkloof on the night of 12 July but I believe that you and your wife were away on leave. As I was unable to tell you in person, I thought I would drop you a line to complement you on your extremely well priced, upmarket guest house. The rooms you allocated us were lovely and the finishing touches just added a touch of quality that no other place we have stayed in has met. Your employee, Ronald, was extremely gracious and accommodating, and the dinner and breakfast he produced were exceptional. You have obviously taken a lot of trouble in training him. He is a delightful man. I will certainly be recommending your establishment to our friends and family and we all look forward to our next visit to Smalkloof.

  The worst service from the actual owner on the 073 number.
  called him personally to book and he said that the place is fully booked he suggests i book bridle guest house.
  when i booled on the internet the booking went through.
  i phoned him a few hours later to ask why he said the place is fully booked when it not and he shouted at me and swore over the phone and hung up.
  he then called again to ask if i understood him and i kept quiet then he told me he knows i dont understand its above my limit and hung up again.
