Awesome stay, love that it is music and pet friendly, everyone can just relax and not worry about owners bugging them with stupid rules. This place is the place to come for that social camping experience for sure.

Wonderful summer holiday destination. Clean, spacious cabins, excellent facilities and shops just up the road in town with everything needed to make it a great holiday experience.

No flies or mosquitoes! Lovely grass camping sites, clean , big ablution rooms. Night light which switches off. Wonderful play area for children.

Well looked after place Johan and Anneke is doing a great job. Nice going to a place time after time and just see improvements. Fishing is great and nature is awesome.

Very beautiful place alongside a river. We camped there so I can't really speak about the rooms here but overall I'd say the camping here was for the most part pleasant. The camping spots are right next to the river so you get a beautiful view, especially at sunset. You can go canoeing in the river and there are also spots for children to play, so you should be able to keep the little ones busy for quite a while.
The people in charge of the place are friendly and we had the owner/manager (not sure) visit us every day to make sure that everything is still fine. The big negative that we experienced was with the bathroom. There's only two bathrooms for our section of the campsite (there was one close to us and another one at the area above us) for our section of the camp site. It made for uncomfortable situations as the bathroom is rather small and became dirty and flooded with water (because of the amount of people that shower their) rather quickly. Also, there was no way to lock the door and unfortunately not everyone knocks before entering.
If the bathroom situation can be sorted out then I would say thay this is definitely a nice place for a break from our busy lives.response / report this review
