  Caroline Mukanganwa has been a waiter with us for the last nine years - she is basically part of the family! Multi-tasking is her thing, and, with a Diploma in Events Management it is no wonder she excels in what she does as waiters often have various "projects" running at the same time!

  She has a 6 month old baby with a very supportive husband (her words) 🙂 "I'm very much a home-body and in my off time I spend my time with them, watching movies on the couch."

  Her favourite dish on the Sirocco menu is the Choco Sirocco with an extra scoop of Ice Cream, and her favourite drink is a Passion Fruit & Lemonade. According to Caroline; the best part of her day is when her customers are happy and get to enjoy the full Sirocco experience.

  We are excited to launch our "Chef's Special" - not on the menu and available for a limited time, our Chef created a dish that celebrates those wonderful Asian flavours - an Asian Style Prawn Stir Fry! . Crisp, tender veggies & noodles tossed in a rich, sweet & spicy sauce with aromatic ginger, chilli and garlic flavours, topped with baby prawn tails & toasted sesame seeds - R95!

  Have you tried our Tropical Linefish? . It is a taste sensation - succulent catch of the day grilled in olive oil & fresh lemon juice served on a bed of rocket, aubergine and curried mango sauce topped with salmon ceviche and potato crisp garnish.... yum!

  Our staff is the backbone that keeps the restaurant going and we love to introduce them to you. Today we are chatting to Amanda Mgangale - she started 6 years ago in the bar and is a great asset to our bar team! She loves making cocktails and her personal favourite is the Pine & Mint Margarita. When asked how she handles stress when it gets really busy, she said "I keep quiet, focus and just do my thing!" The only thing she loves more than the Coronation Pizza on the Sirocco menu is the "Death by Chocolate" Chocolate Brownie! Her off time is spent with her 2 children, aged 2 and 7 years. Cheers Amanda!
