If you are looking to get away from it all and relax and recharge in nature, this is a beautiful spot to camp. Great hikes up into the mountains, beautiful stream to swim in, horse riding for the adventurous and lots of nature to enjoy. Simply love camping there.

Firstly, my advise to get here. Take the second road from Underberg on the R617 and not the first to get to here. First road is hair raising in a normal car!!!! We tried both roads and the second one is by far the best.

Now to get onto the review of park. We stayed in cabin number 20, the crooked house! I think it would be hard to find a straight line in this cabin! The bedroom floors are wobbly, the toilet is at an angle, the bath is lopsided and doors don't close.

But this just adds to the charm and quirkiness of the cabin. It is so refreshing to stay in something so different and rustic. The overall quality of the amenities of the cabin is above par.

The facilities in the park are well kept and very adequate. The staff are very friendly, professional and ever eager to help out.

There is horse riding available at the near by trading store. Even novices can enjoy a decent ride with the lovely and tame horses. The guide is very knowledgeable and helpful.

A nice little getaway spot. Flipping could in winter. Horseriding is available and the hike up the canyon is a must.

Been here twice and plan to visit again. Our first stop before driving up Sani Pass. Nice big camping spots. Friendly personel and love the Silver steams!
