I requested change for R1000 from the Cashier after purchasing goods to the amount of just over R500 today, Saturday, 18 July at 11h00. To my amazement they could not honour the service that is advertized. But this was nit the first time that this has happened to me at Checkers Lifestyle Centre in Tzaneen. It is hard ti believe that they did not have R500 cash in the store. Your staff are killing the business with rheir attitude i complained to the floor manager Martha who also was very teluctant to assist

Unfriendly rude and unpleasant cashiers make shopping at Checkers Hermanus store a bore. One is never greeted or if a greeting is ventured then it is perfunctory. This is surely a management issue who should motivate and train their staff in these difficult times - especially for Shoprite Checkers, to treat customers with politeness.

Bought Ready to Cook Chicken Thighs yesterday. (spinach, mushroom & Feta). Cost me R 120 and thought it will be a treat for Hubby.
The amount of butter garlic was so overwhelming and we could not eat it. Packet said 30-40 min, but after an hour, the thighs was still more than pink inside. Last resort was to cut in smaller pieces, to get it out of the garlic butter sauce and pan fry it. Long story short, we threw everything away.
Not a nice feeling. We only shop at checkers in Northern Paarl, but I am still tasting garlic so will be shopping at Spar today.
