Pros: Adequate for its money. On the main street. Appealing room decor. Fully furnished.
Cons: Limited parking. Can be a bit noise (depends on the neighborhood & time of year). Rooms & toilet require some minor maintenance.

So sorry we made this booking, wanted to go home the minute we walked in the door..the place smells dreadful, dont open the cupboards as the stench is unbearable. The following were all equipment issues, microwave not properly functional, did not even bother to report itfridge had to be replaced as the first one did not keep anything cold, the replacement was rusted and dirty in places, the kettle gave up and the stove only had some functional plates. In general the place felt dirty and dingy. I couldnt get myself to sit on the couches without covering them with a towel or throw..showers heads are way past there replacement date, items in the unit are rusted and there are various maintanance matters. It is not a tranquil setting instead it is very noisy and there is no privacy, unless your door and curtains are kept close. Completely overpriced for what is being offered, desperate upgrade required. Sad to have spent money on this place lowlight of our vacation.

The place is ok, but the service is not good. When we came there was no towels and soap in the bathroom, after requesting that, we discovered, there was no water. We tried calling reception and sent there with no luck. We Googled their emergency number, some gentleman said he will get back to us, waited for about 15 minutes. Called him back he and the receptionist agreed amongst themselves that we didn't need help, we had been helped. We discovered this when we called back. later receptionist came gave us the key for another room, and discovered that it also didn't have hot water. In the morning we managed to bath with a few drops that were dripping.
I was happy I had made a one night bookingI felt I was being done a favor in all of this. Please try improve customer serviceit's key

Loud noise all night long from some random people staying at the lodge and the staff didn't even care. That's not what I expected when going on holidays. For that it was way too expensive!

Stayed here for a few nights as part of a tour. The staff were lovely. The manager, Rachel, was very welcoming and also took part in the Zulu cultural evening by teaching the guests words in Zulu. They offer a laundry service at an extremely reasonable price and the hotel is located close to lots of shops and sights. If you're lucky, you might spot some monkeys running around. That was one of my highlights. Rooms are decent enough and vary in size.
