Very informative on Zulu History. A story worth hearing.
Good place to visit, but the prices are
Too higher than 5star hotel
Great place to clear your head
A short drive from Richards Bay. A good place to see Zulu culture and dance and music. You can also enjoy good buffet lunch and drinks there.
I was treated like a queen.Receptionists are so friendly.Tour guides very good and food wonderfulserved from traditional pots. It's really emotional to learn how Zulus really lived.I was with my kids and they enjoyed to bitsthey can't wait to visit again on the 1st of January 2018 and always
Very informative.
It's a very different experience
It's a historic place.u just get emotional when they tell u about shakaland n the zulus
A farce, old movie set. should have been torn down long ago.
An amazing memorable experience for those entrenching Zulu pride or just wanting to know about Zulu cultures
I have visited this place three times, and absolutely love the evening show and food afterwards. I have never stayed the night though so I can't tell how the sleeping arrangement is. If you are near Eshowe on holiday, make sure you visit this place. Be aware that the souvenir shop is pricy compared to others.
Loved it! Highly recommended!! Best to stay 1 night. We learnt a lot of the Zulu people during our stay.
A Zulu experience to be enjoyed. Beautiful views of the mountains and river!
It's nice to be there the food and the view around
Shakaland brings history to life with an excellent service! A blend of traditional and modern, the huts take one away from the hustle and bustle of city life only to represent it in the enthusiasm found in the sale of Zulu memorabilia. Modern comforts are not neglected and it is possible to withdraw from the heat to air conditioned rooms. There is also a very able restaurant. Shakaland is more than just a tour of the past with mod cons. It is an opportunity to take part in the Zulu culture.
