  The food is very nice with the outside setting as well looking over the sea. The only thing is that you have day campers at the beach and they are literally sitting in the restaurant with you. Something needs to be done about that tho. Some staff members are really friendly.

  Quaint ambience but plenty of space including lovely outdoor seating. The food is good and the service is wonderful, warm and efficient. I love the old photos of the area circa 1940s etc, very special to behold and appreciate. Have been before, glad to have gone back, definitely recommend.

  Light meal - fish cake and chips, 2 pasta dishes were yummy, service was laid back but friendly, prices more than reasonable. All in all, good experience and a good valie for money...

  Awesome location. On the beach...penguins strolling around. Calamari is great! Fish and chips too....makes a great combo. Some excellent cocktails as well. Menu caters well for everyone and a decent wine list. Service was decent and we went back twice to enjoy the hospitality and setting.
  All and all very cool spot.

  My boyfriend and I felt like they had poor service, over priced (a platter for 2 and 2 200ml of coke was R1000 and when we had asked for chips they brought us rice). No manager once came to ask how we were doing. Overall poor.

  I had ostrich for the first time. It was surprising good. Beautiful location on the water, a short walk from the penguins.

  We ate there on 27/08/17. We had the most wonderfull man as waiter - a citizen of Zim working to support his family. I'm so bad with names - SORRY...🙂
  The food was so...so... delicious we had the time of our life... Thanks so much for making this a wonderfull experience for us as north west residents... 😀

  ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! If you want to be treated like dirt, go here. We walked into a fairly empty restaurant for a drink and dessert. We were seated outside as we wished to enjoy the view. We ordered our drinks and enjoyed the view for a few minutes. The waitress approached us a second time to order our food. Once she realized that we are only ordering dessert, she stated that she had to involve her manager because the outside tables were for dining only. An extremely rude man approached us and asked us to leave the table and sit in their "lounge". We asked to finish the drinks and for the check, but he insisted that we got up and move to the "lounge". We moved politely and paid for the drinks and left. After we left, we stood outside for a minute to book an Uber using their Wi-Fi. THE MANAGER TURNED THE INTERNET OFF! Needless to say, do not waste your time at this ridiculously operated joint. Eat elsewhere.

  Terrible experience and will never go back. We were seated with a view, which was initially nice, but after the waitress found out we only wanted drinks and dessert, we were told to leave the balcony with the view. We asked if we could just pay for our drinks and go, but the manager (extremely rude man) told us to go in on the couch to finish our drinks and pay. Needless to say we said forget the dessert and didn't order anymore drinks as we had planned. They also cut off the Wi-Fi on us once they found out we weren't dining in. Awful experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

  Great food. But strange policy for seating. We wanted to move to a table closer to the view as there were no tables available when we arrived and the manager (who was very rude) refused us to move when a table became available. Won't be back again based on that! If you go here wait for a table that you want.
