This is an iconic place, around for many decades. They do stock a real good range of mainstream and also pretty obscure hardware items. Two reasons why they're my last stop: 1.some prices are over-the-too expensive. 2. Shop assistants are never around, especially when one is in a hurry

A genuine 1 stop shop for business and DIY. Been using them for 30 years from when one had to climb over stock on the floor to the present well laid out professional outfit. Friendly staff.

Totally disgusted with the behaviour of a bald headed man at the cashier. I bought a pocket of cement & 2 bags building sand. He marked a slip & I noticed it was marked red.I asked y red as I wud have preferred black or blue. He said he wants R 2.50 for the blk cement so I said thats ok im nt gona swipe for that amount. I was very surprised as I bought several pockets of cement from TOMS HARDWARE yesterday & they didnt charge me more for blk or blue cement. He started to raise his voice and swear at me & said that we need need ppl like me coming der. I said I will neva come back. He continued to swear badly in front of other customers including women & children that were in the que. I guess he doesnt care abt customers bcos he feels that they are recognized & have been around for a long time. Well news flash bald man customers made salejees what it is not u. You are seriously a disgrace to salejees & to all those associated with u. I guess I was raised in a decent manner as opposed to the bald man.

This place has been here for years! They have just about anything hardware related as well as garden an car related products. if they dont have something you need they very often offer to source it for you and keep it in stock. Their prices are hard to beat. The staff are pleasant and know what they are talking about.
