Great atmosphere.. Good food.. But kitchen service a bit slow.. Good music.. Toilets however are horridnot clean..however If there are any patrons that step out of line Staff are available and ready to handle the situation. Ideal for those seaking interaction with other patrons..

Very pleasant atmosphere. Busy yet intimate. Excellent and helpful staff. Bar service can be a bit slow at peak times. Good variety of basic food.

I had previously given Saki a 3star rating due to the short time i had spent there. Today i had lunch with friends there and it was dismal. Food was good. Had a cheese burger and they had fish. The service and attitude of the manager was ridiculous. Not telling us the full specials until 5 minutes after we ordered. Missing drinks from our order. Today was a fairly hot day but there was a cool breeze outside. The 2 small air cons could not cope inside and it was getting hot. We asked them to open the windows which they did to everyones delight as the breeze cooled everyone down immediately. Then the manager came and told them to close the windows and if we want the breeze we should go outside. He needs to keep the a/c on to cool the place for his customers coming later. So basically to hell with the customers he currently has swealtering in his restaurant.

Pretty good sushi, something that is quite hard to find in Pietermaritzburg. Thursday night they have half priced sushi as well karaoke which is a nice event to go to.
