  Service here was shocking. They may stock a large variety of electrical appliances etc but promise of service is awful.

  Wide selection of electronic goods. Was looking for speaker cable and atmos amps. They have a plentiful selection of tv and udio products. Was a bit pricier than i had expected but good experience overall.

  Yesterday I went to Stax and purchased a vacuum cleaner. The sales man was very helpful. However when at the till to pay, the woman did not greet and just got my card and proceeded to speak in an African language with the sales person non-stop. When she returned my card after paying she threw the card back at me and I asked her if the card was for me!!! She answered of course isn't that your card? I purposely wanted her to aknowledge my presence and interact with me and not the sales person and in a language she knew perfectly well I would not undertsand. Could STAX please train your till personnel to learn how to interact with clients? It is quite simple and done in many parts of the world: They should be polite; aknowledge the client, by greeting and making eye contact; say thank you when the purchase has been made and, not speak non-stop with other stuff in front of the client, especially in a language the client do not understand!

  We have been supporting this Stax store for more than 25 years. On Saturday wanted to buy a 55 inch smart TV. Consultant advised buying Hisense. What a disaster! Kept rebooting. After reading on the internet this seems to be a common problem. When we returned the TV today, the consultant promptly agreed to swop for a more expensive Samsung.
  Disappointed that consultant did not know about the negative reviews of this brand.
