This is a beautiful stop on your travels. They serve wonderful and unique meals including locally sourced trout, freshly baked mieliebread and lovely deserts. Gordon Ramsay would approve

Nice atmosphere and good food, service can be a little slow, but it's a good excuse to just relax a while.

We had breakfast at the Rose Cottage, and they were happy to serve us with our dogs. Food was good, and they had live music (very chilled) which was lovely.

Disappointed. Service was terrible. Felt like they were doing us a favour to serve us a cuppachino and slice of cake at 4h30 when operating hours were advertised on window till 5h00 and cake was a few days old def not freshly baked. Wont be back. Hospitality is priority in hospitality industry

Waiter needs a bit more training and prices a bit high other than that nice decor and environment

I was here at a time when it was quite busy. Even though the food was good, it was an overall uncomfortable experience. An older lady, I don't know her position, was constantly sending the waiter back to our table because she wanted the people to get in, pay money, and get back out ASAP. It got so bad that she ended up sending another waiter to us, because she didn't believe the original one when he said that we told him to give us 10 minutes to look at the menu. Long story short, if you order 2 soups you're only allowed one soup's bread??? 2/5 There are too many other places to eat within 100m, and all they have to do is not make me feel bad for not eating as fast as I possibly can.
