This is truly the most beautiful little nursery school, close to Emmarentia dam. It has a huge playground with a real car, a real boat and a super real tree house. My children have both grown into fun loving responsible humans who care for the earth, love themselves, and reach out to fellow human beings. The most amazing thing is that it has no “brand name,” it operates under the terms REAL and SLOW and GENUINE. In times when everything seems to be measured and controlled, it is truly wonderful to find something that is what it is: a loving preschool that embraces diversity and where children can play freely.

My two older children have left RENS, and my youngest is still there. I'm not sure who love the place more - the children or the parents. The teachers are passionate professionals who see and appreciate each child for the person he or she is. On a number of occasions I was amazed at the effort made to nurture one child's specific interests.

The school grounds are lovely, and there is enough space to run and play and drive a car and ride in a boat.

I wish more children in South Africa had the opportunity to get such a thorough and joyful preschool education. The school has contributed significantly to equip my children for the social and academic demands of primary school, and beyond.

Passionate staff, excellent grounds, community minded. My kids love it there, and I'm happy with the role the school is playing in their development. We're lucky to have such an excellent school on our doorstep. Highly recommended.
