Staff was friendly and it is literally by the mall so you can walk there. Great WiFi. Looks amazing From the outside. Once you inside very old everything, stuffy and the sheets looked scary, had an off smell and had stains. Great as a “oh flip I think I’m too tired to drive beyond this point, let me quickly check myself in for a few hours” as the rooms are tiny and the beds are uncomfortable too. Hence I’m up at 3am typing out this review.
Have you ever tried sleeping with a broken heart? Well you can try sleeping at Road lodge Potch💔
Found it shocking that they didn’t have bottled water in the rooms, I can excuse the lack of bar fridges but not water and their water thingie at reception had stains😭😭😭.
Not the worst accommodation I’ve stayed in ever but definitely the worst in Potch. Potch is not your basic small town, it is quite sofisticated so I am really shocked.response / report this review -

Conveniently located and good enough for a short stay. Bathroom has no ventilation so after one shower everything smells mouldy. Shower is also very mouldy.

Expensive. Rooms patheticly small like a cupboard. No dustbin in rooms. No showercaps. No porter. No coffee tea kettle or amenities in room. Ground floor smell so strongly of smoke it is stifling. No baths in rooms. No lifts and as elderly person I had to walk the narrow flights of stairs. No dinner offered in hotel. Staff seems exhausted and hostile. Place is pathetic. Next time the company book me in there I will flatly refuse.

Very basic budget accommodation. The "family room" is very cramped and the 3rd bed is basically a pull out chair. The bathroom is very smalldifficult to change even your mind in there!

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Check in took an unreasonably long time, it was like checking it at the airport to travel abroad. We were forced to sign harshly worded documents.
The room was sub-par, depressing is another word. There was a chemical stench in the room. There was hair in my bed as well as bugs. I woke up with dozens of bites on my legs.
The next morning, there was no hot water to take a shower. There is no ambiance in the room. Management seemed just as confused as we were about the availability of drinks. The pool was abysmal, it looks like a swamp.
