It's a collection of random shops thrown together without any thought. Checkers is the anchor, but it closes early the other shops follow suit. Unless you are looking for banks, 2 opticians, a crazy store and an overpriced Art shop, this place is not worth a visit.

Still on e of the nicest places with the absolute best pharmacy in South Africa. Vitacare pharmacy owned by pharmacist Ali Chicktay is the most incredible and trusted place to get meds and they treat elderly people with such care.

Quite a dull mall with not much to offer except banking facilities. The parking is difficult so only go there if you have to.

Main attraction is the Checkers. You'll find some coffee shops and take away places.
Nice for a quick stop and shop.

Below average mall. Barely any visitors. Nice parking rates and generally lots of space. Nice to visit if you need to shop at checkers.

I returned to Riverside Mall where I shopped before I moved from Rondebosch and was very happy. Checkers was very well stocked - better than where I live now and some goods less expensive. The tea room - impressed me with the food and prices on the menu. And NO CHARGE. A blessing for the elderly

good shopping experience ,., free parking for hour daily and free parking on sundays , checkers is not busy like other supermarkets in the area and has a good selection - absa isn't that clued up but then it is a bank so there you go , other stores are friendly and helpful :) good indian restaurant

This is a beautiful mall that has hidden wonders. On the banks of the Liesbeek River and under the backdrop of table mountain, it's certainly an enjoyable experience other than the shopping.
