I Bought my Etios Cross form BB Renault in Hatfield on 20 October 2017.Everything went very well and I got the car quick. On the Day of Pick up they however did not have the Spare Key for my vehicle and they promised to send it to me. It has now been almost 3 Months and I still do Not have the key. They have made promise after promise to sort this out. Yet NOTHING , has been done.

I had to return my car twice for them fix back indicators which are still under warranty. They gave me the car back without double checking if it's was properly working after claiming that they had fixed it for the second time.

Pathethic service and full of excuses. Took my car in for repairs and they did not put back my airfilter so for a week I have been driving without a airfilter. And to add my car is still not fixed, still the exact same issue it has been giving, sent it in 3 times already.

Frank Dikobe and Stephan gave me great service. Frank went out of his way to find a vehicle that suits my budget. Thank you.

    If zero stars was possible it would be more fitting, here's a list of events;

60 000km service gets done at renault hatfield,

2 weeks later Duster starts making clicking noises, we were out the country at the time so my brother takes it back, they charge us R650 to do a diagnosis after the car was in just a few weeks ago, damages are that we need new CV's in the front, new drive shaft, new shocks at R13k. he brings it home,

we arrive back and see the quote, we try find out whats happening at the dealership and eventually ask how much can be covered by the warrenty, they want to see the car again...after a minor argument we bring it in, miraculously nothing is wrong with the CV's or the drive shaft, but it's the tie rod ends, and the shocks, one shock is leaking oil, then they keep the car for two days, and try to get a good will claim from renault so I can get a discount on the repairs, every time I ask what the cost will be they don't produce a quote and just tell me a price, that price moved from R3500 to R6700 depending on the lunar alignments I suppose, these included a goodwill discount of 33% from Renault.

Throughout the experience my wife and I felt patronized and not really respected as people who had a genuine problem with their service.

I eventually just asked for my car back because nothing is happening as they were waiting for renault to authorise the discount, I drove to supaquick and got a new set of shocks for under 2k. car still has a clicking noise, Thanks renault, I really love my Duster but I now regret buying it.

I asked them to call once their admin was in order, they called over a week later...

Warning/Advise to anyone reading this, try your luck with another service center.

I cannot even begin to explain the level of unprofessional-ism this dealership has shown. In my opinion stay as far away from them as possible.

    Here are the facts:
While looking for my new car (Renault Duster), they phoned me almost daily trying to get the deal, they finally sent me an email with amount that said (All inclusive) ; when I excepted the quote and financing everything was rushed to get the car to me, On the day that I went to sign the contract I saw that they added an extra R4900 for licensing ontop of the amount they quoted that said ALL INCLUSIVE... When I queried this and showed the managers the proof (email) they just said well sorry that is how it is and didn't do anything to help in this regard.
I even said they can meet me half way on the amount and they just refused.
As I already traded in my car with them and was very excited about my new vehicle I (stupidly) accepted the new amount which is actually way more because I am financing it.. My troubles only started at that point.

Get home, I realize they never included all the booklets etc.
The next day I see that the whole car is scratched as if they washed it with the rough side of a sponge. and some extra thick scratch marks as well. I take back the vehicle to be inspected, they gave me my booklets and said I need to come back and they will have the scratches fixed on my BRAND NEW CAR.

I get back there 4 days later to have the scratches fixed and the staff are extremely rude to me as if I am so terrible for wanting a brand new car to be in brand new condition. I noticed that my key was bent from the start and when I asked the sales manager he just took it and said "Nee tjom ek weet nie" ( No mate I don't know) .. The sales person then rudely asked me "Why didn't you tell us your trade in was in an accident?" something that I did tell them but it was just my mirror that was hit by another car and had been fully replaced.. To which they rudely responded "and your bumper?" I said there were some scratches on there that I had fixed.... They inspected the car before I traded it and now they pretend as if I lied to them.
They give me a lone car Suzuki Splash, when I start the vehicle I see the petrol is in reserve and flashing. When I query this the sales person just let out a BIG sigh.. After standing there just looking at me as if I should just accept this total lack of service, I suggest should I fill it up half sarcastically and they said "Yes" just keep the receipts.
I phone the dealer principle to explain how disappointing I am with their service he blames it on internal fights going on at the dealership ( How is this my problem). To his credit the staff did get a bit more friendly after this..
Next day they let me know car is ready. I get there and all the scratches are still there..
They promise to get it fixed again..
a day later they let me know they can't, at this point I have been fighting with them and they agree to get me a different vehicle.

a week later I get my new vehicle , with 2 BIG BB stickers stuck to the back of it and a scratch on the inside door. At this point I am so tired of fighting I accept it.. While driving I feel the cars steering wheel is very loose and when parked if I pull up the hand brake the car still roles.
I have to take it in to a different dealer to which they let me know my wheel alignment and balancing is completely out and that I need to take it back to the dealer to have it fixed.

Once again they didn't give me my booklets or my spare key for the vehicle..

Now my trade in.. Its been 4 weeks and they still haven't taken the vehicle of my name after phoning them 4 times about it which has lead that I haven't been able to take out my licence on my other vehicle and have to penalties of R300 because it's disc has expired.. I finally phone the bank because the dealer keeps telling me that it's the banks fault at which the bank lets me know that BB HATFIELD has never requested the documents to have it taken off my name..

This is probably the worst dealings I have had with any car dealership!
    Stay away

It took them 3 days to fix my car!!!
This left me the Thursday-Monday without a car.
They did not even bother to call to inform me what was going on, that I will have to make other arrangements as I will not have a car plus they got annoyed when I kept on asking what is going on.
