Last Thursday night i took rhe family for dinner. It was the worst Spur I've ever been to. The service was Extremely slow. At least 20min to get a coke. Food was COLD. And to top it all EXTRA items were added to my bill totaling an extra R130. I have now informed Spur head office. I will NEVER go or recommend that Spur to anyone.

The young white girl at reception saw me walk in and ignored me and continued talking and laughing with another white gentlemen. I stood there waiting. I had to find someone that could help me.

It is a spur. They offer some good food but don't deliver consistently. The steak I ordered was done good! Medium rare just like I like it! My chips was cold. The prices are pricy for what it is. The plate was half empty when presented to me. A simple presentation error on their part. The venue is clean and open and has a nice atmosphere. My beer glass had a crack in it, which is very bad. All I all it's a mediocre experience

Food is pretty good. Been loving Cheddarmelt steak and BBQ Ribs since my teens. Service is a bit slow at times but not a major issue.

This Spur is definitely well-known in the community as evidenced by the volume of customers on weekend nights and - even surprisingly - it's weeknights. I've been going about four times a year since it's opening. It has always been fun to visit, although a bit noisy sometimes, as the staff and managers are reasonably accommodating.

But I have to be honest and voice my unpopular opinion that the quality has dropped slightly since its debut. However, the experience and food are still quite good. I think it's also fair to say that they've added more tables as of recent but this leaves you feeling a little squashed since they sacrificed space for capacity and not forgetting that the noise factor goes up. This is especially annoying if you're on the larger side like me.

Ultimately, Spur still has the qualities and ambience that a lot of Spurs have and you can be guaranteed an enjoyable experience whenever you go.

Honestly one of the worst dining experience of my life. DO NOT order take away from this branch. The entire order was wrong - I told the lady I can’t eat onions, and she went and put onions in the salad. The “pork” ribs were so over cooked they looked like beef. They resolved the problem quickly but ruined our Sunday night as we had to drive back to the branch for the refund. Expect more from a chain restaurant

Good staff, good quality, accommodating, easy going management which allows for substitutions, and changes without a hassle. Food is slightly above spur average. BIGGEST PLUS THEY SERVE BACON.

Came with the family last night, service was good but the food omg everything was horrible nothing tasted good. Ribs didn't have sauce and had a meaty taste, wings were fried too much was hard and the chips was not fresh. Did complain but didn't make an issue until I get a running tummy this morning. Never coming back here. So disappointed!!!!
