A great place to relive a little of a previous era. I guess you will like this place more if you enjoyed the movie as much as we did. It is definitely better with someone you love at your side.

A very vibrant colourful happy environment. With lovely old cars and little authentic places as shops and houses.

A fun and different environment. Its a little town built for a movie they shot, it has a 50's feel to it. Lots of fun props to play with. Theres a diner to drink a milkshake at. Very fun.

Interesting setup. It is actually a film set, where certain Afrikaans movies was/is filmed. There's also a place where you can eat. Food is really okay. There is a film theater where movies can be watched three times a day. Open to the public over weekends only.

A very interesting place to visit when in Harties. All the old movie scenes used in films and TV shows. Lovely old cars around. Can take your roller skates if you up to it as they have a nice area to roller skate. Lots of opportunities to stick your head through and take photos. E.g James Dean and Marilyn Monroe. If you get thirsty or hungry visit the old style diner or sit in a old fashioned car and have a burger and milkshake.

Built for Movie Scenes of the same name from the 1960's It now offers venue hire and is open to the public for great photo oppertunities and a milkshake in a Cadillac. If you have time you can also enjoy one of the Afrikaans Movies in an old scenima. Lovely stop on a Harties day trip for kids & adults alike

Over rated. Entrance fee way too much. Hamburgers and milkshakes are excellent though

It's a movie set so what's not to love! Has a restaurant/diner that is reminiscent of Grease, thinking burgers, chips and milkshakes. Other than being on the movie set and exploring there is not much else to do if you're taking small kids. It's the ideal place for a romantic drive and a date, you can take pictures of your loved ones all over the various locations.
