Pongola Country Logde is awesome. Staff is lovely. Nice environment. Rooms very neat. Perfect breakfast. It is the place for getting peace. Inside town. Safe. It's good for surprise parties.

Located in a funny part of townbut once inside you forget about the surrounding. beautiful buildings5 star accommodation. Big beautiful decorated rooms with basics of fridge and kettle available.

A very nice and pleasant stay, elegant rooms as well as warm welcoming staff from the security guards at the gate to the front desk staff. I just love this place!😉

Pongola itself is not much, the place is luxurious for this Village. It's a good place to stay when you need to be in the area. If not, just dont go there. We had a one night stop when we were driving from Johannesburg.

While the building and facilities hint at a better experience, beware. Our bad experience started at reception where I was met with arrogance and a total unwillingness to make an effort to find out booking; that was made on our behalf. The lights and air-conditioning in our first room did not work, in the second room we had a choice of air-conditioning either full blast on or off; we could not adjust temperature settings.
Since we were there for work we requested a conference room and were assigned one; freshly painted, with the paint smell overwhelming. Food was poorly prepared. A facility dearly in need of a change of management.
