Their meat is off! Second time that I bought beef from the shelf that was on bulk special. Opened the packet and the meat smelt off and was slimy! This happened also before when buying marinated kebabs from their butchery!

This is a typical Pick n Pay chain store with the usual groceries, meat and vegetables. It is one of the smaller shops and is usually very busy especially over the weekend.

Busy shopping center , Management can really look at the fresh produce quality , not the cheapest but well stocked . I personally do not like the serpentine queuing system at the tills, and Myth-busters did prove it was slower in Episode 242.

Stay away from their Pork products. I bought Pork sausages last evening. They smelled ok when I opened them to cook but they were absolutely NOT EDIBLE. So bitter we could not even swallow them. I have taken Pork back TWICE already. I have learned my lesson!!!

Good place to buy groceries. Very busy in afternoons and over weekends (long queues). Not always the best priced and fresh produce not up to standard.
