Visited recently with my family. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely atmosphere. A great range of herbal product and some yummy new additions to the herbal pantry. Owners are knowledgeable and happy to assist with all questions. Love the natural dog shampoo and dog soap.

I think Peters Gate has so much potential to become a major draw card in the Midlands. There is a sweet little shop and café on the grounds however a lot could be done to improve the atmosphere. It's a bit sterile. They have a lovely Pergola for entertaining but given the nature of the place I think a herb garden surrounding this would go a long way The scents and smells and even little sign boards sharing information about particular plants would be awesome

Visited in September which is not necessarily the best time due to lack of rain. The nursery section did have plants but I can image how much better the place would be once the rains come. Went into the store which contained home made items using herbs and essential oils. Soaps, bath salt, home remedies. Loverly smells. If you suffer from allergies like I do it is nice to be in a place that does not affect you.

Great selection of herbal stuff - soaps, bath salts, teas and ointments. Great for a coffee and a cake with a fabulous view up Balgowan valley. Nice local market here once a month.
