Ambience in the restaurant is great, the menu has a wide variety. The complementary pita bread with the hummus is excellent.

20.02.2018 Nothing beats a team lunch where you get to learn more about your colleagues and their likes and dislikes. You either bond over food or you don't, luckily for us we did.

Had such a great lunch here. It was quiet on arrival but soon filled up pretty quick during the lunchtime rush. Like the look and feel of the restaurant and the musical corner of instruments which added a certain vibe. I'm sure night time is just as great.

They have a rather extensive menu offering, and yes some will say it's on the pricy side, however when the quality and taste of the food is as good you don't mind paying.

Something that caught my eye was the Soft Shell Crab in Pita, I've hardly ever seen this on restaurant menus so I had to give it a go. My colleagues ordered a variety of meals from Oxtail, Calamari, Fish and Chips, Lamb chops and T-bone Steaks.

Everything was so good. My soft shell crab had a bit more Chilli kick than I anticipated but the flavours were great and the portions were reasonable.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals along with great laughter. Looking forward to another team lunch.

An absolutely beautiful restaurant, with really friendly staff and even greater food. The virgin cocktails are very tasty as well. The placement of the restaurant is great, but what I believe makes this the successful restaurant it is, is the ambience of the place. You can't help but enjoy merely sitting there and taking in the natural light from the Windows and the cool breeze passing through ,the atmosphere is the star of the restaurant.

Even though renovations are ongoing, the service and food was superb. Excellent location to fuel up after posing for numerous photos with the Nelson Mandela statue. Commendable service by a waiter called Tafi.

Ordered a rump steak with mash as the side. Asked for it to be medium but it was medium rare. Didn't have much flavour either. Mash was also clumpy. Expected better.

Mediocre food and service. Place seems to lack the original attention to detail. Maybe just a once off. Usually very good.

Food came instantly- but the bread in the yiro was hard as if it had been microwaved. Service wasn't as good as it should be.

Not my first time at Pappas, nor will it be my last. Tasty, interesting food, great location, and admirable service. One of the better Sandton restaurants. I had the Riganato steak last night, accompanied by creamed spinach and roast butternut.. It was to die for.. So good! Definitely recommended.

I have eaten here for the last 15 years, and the food has always been great. Love the dancing and ambience of the place. Good food, good portions. If you can't afford to eat here, don't moan about the prices, show some class. Great location and at the right table a good view of Nelson Mandela square, very pretty at night time.
