Fantastic fine dining restaurant, great location, great service and Chef James was outstanding. Personal touch with custom meals made on request, a definite must visit.

Located in front of the Sandton convention centre is convenient to host as hoc meetings. The food is good, but the service is erratic and need improvement based on the high priced menu.

Great spot for a meal in the heart of Sandton. Recently given a facelift to a more Funky vibey looking eatery. Staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. They have launched a new AfroFusion menu. If you the adventurous type give them a try. Although I didn't enjoy my meal 100% due to the bones in the fish, I thoroughly enjoyed the taste and the flavour of the starter trio soups especially the peppered Goat meat Soup.

HAVING BOOKED AND PAID EARLY FOR VALENTINE'S EVENING ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF A COLLEAGUE, WE ENDURED AN EVENING OF HELL.
ALTHOUGH OUR RESERVATION WAS ON THE VERY TOP OF THE LIST, WE WERE OFFERED THE WORST TABLE IN THE ROOM.
IT WAS IN THE FOYER, VIRTUALLY, AT THE FRONT DOOR AS ONE ARRIVES AND IN THE PASSAGE.
REFUSING THAT, WE WERE THEN OFFERED A MAKESHIFT TABLE WITH WHAT SEEMED LIKE RENTED CHAIRS, ALSO IN THE PASSAGE.
MY OUTBURST WITH THE MANAGER RESULTED IN OUR BEING OFFERED A TABLE MORE IN THE BELLY OF THE RESTAURANT, BUT IT WAS A KIDDIES SIZE TABLE UNDER WHICH WE COULD NOT FIT OUR KNEES.
WE STAYED WHERE WE WERE, RELUCTANTLY.
WE STRUGGLED TO FIND SERVICE AND EVENTUALLY WONDERED WHETHER IT WAS SELF-SERVICE.
WE STRUGGLED TO GET SALT AND PEPPER.
WE WERE GIVEN BREAD ROLLS THAT MUST HAVE BEEN LEFTOVERS FROM SUNDAY.
THE SOUP WAS DELIVERED. THANK GOODNESS IT WAS A COLD SOUP BECAUSE NO SPOONS CAME WITH IT.
WE ORDERED VEUVE CLIQUOT CHAMPAGNE WHICH WAS ROOM TEMPERATURE SO WE CHILLED IT UNTIL IT WAS VAGUELY COLD.
THE WAITER WHO SERVED US TRIED TO EXTRACT A SMILE FROM US, BUT HE WAS UNOBSERVANT, SLOW AND HAD NO PROBLEMS REACHING ACROSS US TO TAKE PLATES, INSTEAD OF GOING AROUND US.
THE PROCESS OF PAYMENT WAS SLOW AS WELL.
THE FOOD ITSELF WAS TASTY AND AS GOOD AS EXPECTED.
WE DECIDED TO LEAVE WHEN THE TABLE CLOTHS STARTED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE VACATED TABLES, MUCH LIKE THE TABLES ARE STACKED AT WIMPY WHEN THEY START CLEANING UP.
OTHER PEOPLE SEEMED TO BE DISENCHANTED AND I DO BELIEVE A TABLE OF THREE GOT UP AND LEFT.
OTHER PATRONS WERE SEEN TO BE EXPLORING THE RESTAURANT IN SEARCH OF A DECENT TABLE AND NOT ONE IN THE PASSAGES.
THE FACT THAT A TV WAS ON AND ON A SPORTS CHANNEL REALLY SET THE TONE AND AMBIANCE FOR THE EVENING.
WHAT A DISASTER.
WE HAVE TRIED TO REGISTER OUR DISCONTENT ON THEIR SITE, BUT IT DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY MESSAGES.

I love the atmosphere and the staff. Only stopped for a coffee the other day. Will definitely visit again for a meal.
